Estepona has a long seafront promenade, an old town of white streets full of flowerpots and a lively harbour. Marbella and Gibraltar are easy day trips.
On foot
From your terrace to the old town, all along the sea
Walk to the beach in ten minutes. From there it is a 25-minute stroll along the beach and promenade to Estepona harbour. Ten minutes further and you are in the heart of town, among the restaurants and shops.

Our tips
What we like to do ourselves
Estepona old town
Wander through the white streets with flowerpots on the walls and look out for the big murals. End up on a square with tapas.
Our favourite: Makako
Asian fusion cooking and good cocktails on the upper floor of Hotel El Pilar, on the Plaza de las Flores in the old town. Open in the evenings; book ahead in summer.
A day in Gibraltar or Marbella
Marbella is 25 minutes away, the Rock of Gibraltar 50. With children, Selwo Aventura is a real winner: wild animals up close.
