One of the things we love most about Casa Calida Brisa: you do not need a car for the beach. Put a towel in your bag, walk ten minutes and your feet are in the sand.
The nearest beaches
The closest beaches are Costa Natura and Arroyo Vaquero. A little further, a few minutes by car, you will find Playa del Cristo, a sheltered bay that is great with children, and Playa de la Rada, the long town beach of Estepona.
Walking along the sea to the harbour
From the beach you can walk for about 25 minutes along the sand and the promenade to the harbour of Estepona. Ten minutes further and you are in the old town. Take the walk in the morning when it is still cool, and treat yourself to a coffee in the harbour.
Our favourite beach bar
Are you heading towards Estepona? If so, we love popping in at Playa del Cristo. There are a few lovely beach bars there, such as Lolailo, Nube Estepona and Havana Beach!
Are you heading the other way? That’s where our favourite beach, Playa Chica, is, with a fantastic beach bar: Chiringuito la Sal!
Don’t feel like walking and just want to chill out at the nearest beach? Just a 10-minute walk away is Playa Arroyo Vaquero, where you’ll also find Beachclub Nido (highly recommended!)
Sunset
At the end of the day the sun sets over the sea. On clear evenings you can see the Rock of Gibraltar on the horizon.
